Stampin' Up! Birthday Memories Tin of Cards ~ Let's Get Hopping Round #1

Well hello everyone! I hope that you are enjoying your Wednesday! I know that I am! If you didn't know already, you are currently visiting my blog in Canada. My name is Carolynn Sander. And yes, I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! And yes, I love all things stamping related in this crazy fun world of Stampin' Up! If you have been hopping along today, you most likely arrived here via Gwen Stenzel Eich's blog. She has been stamping for quite some time now! Wasn't her project today awesome? I am so very thrilled to be teaming up with this talented group of stampers for today's "Let's get Hopping" Blog Hop. We are a diverse group! Some are new hoppers, and some are quite experienced. So let's give a round of applause to all who have participated today, and let's enjoy this around the world spectacle of stamping fun.
The theme for this inaugural hop is "Top Thrifty Tips"!  My thrifty tip of the day is, "If you see something you can stamp on, whatever you do, do not chuck it in the trash!" P-E-R-I-O-D! And seriously use your imagination with this one, as you can pretty well stamp on just about anything and everything! If you want to of course. Over a year ago, one of my most special BFFs (Katie from Saskatoon Playground Review), actually chucked the tin you see below... IN THE GARBAGE!!! To be fair, she was in the middle of a crazy move, and purging isn't the worst thing ever right? But in my mind, I was going to create something spectacular with this up-cycled tin!

Fast-forward to today, and here it is Katie! Today's blog hop gave me that extra oomph to decorate the tin that I have been hoarding for over a year! #notahoarder #justastampinghoarder

So what do you think? Did I not do this "Tin for a Train" justice? It looks much better here today than in the trash don't ya think? By the way Katie... I am hoping that I can get my poop together and send you another surprise in the mail. Maybe it will just so happen to be a tin of cards. 😉 #loveyoukatie

Honestly, as much as I L-O-V-E stamping and papercrafts, this entire outlet is purely about connection for me. My stamping friends are what keep me going on this crafting journey. As well, my "non-stamping" friends might just so happen to find me sending them a surprise on the odd occasion. Or... maybe I will be caught digging in their trash! lol No matter what, these extra special bonds are what keep me balanced, and I am forever blessed and thankful for that. So what do you say? Should we not be checking out what my newest stamping friend has to share? Ummm... Heck yah! And guess what! Tracy Bish is up next! I am sure you will love what she has to share with us today!
