Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Embossing Folders

The theme for today's hop is Embossing Folders! Stampin' Up! has a fabulous array of embossing folders. I decided to use on of my favorite new folders on today's project. Can you guess which one? 💖
 

Did you guess right? I used the Countryside Blossoms Folder. When I embossed with this folder I left to top portion of my cardstock out of the folder, leaving a portion of my cardstock sans impression, AKA "plain". I really like the look. Such a simple twist that adds more interest. 


I also used another folder on my card today. It is a wee difficult to see as it is so subtle, but if you look closely just below the focal sentiment I added a portion of a vellum trimmed doily. This doily was cut out using the Stampin' Up! Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder. The possibilities are endless with this Hybrid Folder. I love it & I am sure you will too.

Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch Bundle - #TGIFC439

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to the TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!


This week's theme is "Pumpkin Patch"! Create a fun fall-themed project using pumpkins or whatever autumn-themed supplies you have. The possibilities are endless! 


The Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch bundle was perfect for this week's topic so I had to get inky with it! I also went a little crazy with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Take a look at the supply list at the end of today's post for all of the items that went into creating this cute card!   


The Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch Punch makes popping out multiple pumpkins a breeze. I have joined a card swap that is due at the end of the week. Shhhhh.... this is the card that I will be mailing to 7 crafty friends. I think I should also create a few more to mail out to others as well. I love giving and receiving happy mail. There is nothing better than opening up a hand-made card that was created with love.
