The theme for today's hop is "CASE" yourself! "CASE" stands for Copy And Share Everything! That basically means be inspired by your own works of art. I can't wait to see what everyone has to share with us this week.

I combined a few of my favorite Stampin' Up! products on today's project! Saying that, I also kept it pretty simple. I hope you enjoy today's simple inspiration piece! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Memories & More

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along you most likely arrived here via my talented Canadian counterpart Cathy Caines! I heart her and all of her works of art! ❤️

The theme for today is Memories & More! To be honest, my original thoughts were I was going to make a scrapbook page for today's hop! Then time passed me, and I didn't print my photos, and so the inspiration had to flow from elsewhere. So yes... I created a festive card today using the Stampin' Up! Flowers For Every Season Memories & More Card Pack!

Of course I combined a few of my favourite dies on today's project! I also added in a swatch of the Stampin' Up! Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper, and showcased the Stampin' Up! Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper! This flocked paper is to die for! It has such a cozy feel to it! Perfect for all of those warm winter projects! If you don't have some yet you must get some! You won't regret it!

I hope you enjoyed today's simple inspiration piece! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His projects are always memorable!

Stampin' Up! Jar Of Flowers Stamp Set - #TGIFC282

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!

The above image is the inspiration for this week's TGIF challenge! You can take the colours, or the sketch, or whatever aspect you wish to inspire you to create your own project this week! Below is my take on it!

Today's card features the Stampin' Up! Jar Of Flowers Stamp Set! I love all of the pretty images in this set. Check out the image below to see what stamps are included in this set!

For today's card I chose one of the flower stamps (pictured above in the bottom left hand corner). Using the masking technique I layered the stamped images. This created a nice cluster of flowers. I then coloured the images using some of my most favourite Stampin' Blends. The Stampin' Blend colours I chose to use on today's project were: Rococo Rose, Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Smokey Slate. I also used my Stampin' Blends colour lifter to add some highlights to those pretty petals. My Just Jade Stampin' Write Marker was also used to add some darker hues to the greenery. I then chose a couple of my Stampin' Dies to create the sentiment and focal point which was layered on top. Lastly, I finished this beauty off with the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Blue Adhesive Backed Gems, and the Stampin' Up! Snowflake Splendor Ribbon. Both these gems and this ribbon have such a stunning shimmer to them. They were exactly what I needed to add that extra touch of bling!

I hope that you have enjoyed today's inspiration piece! Thank you so much for stopping by! Feel free to leave a comment below! & Remember to check out the TGIF Challenges Site this week to join in the fun with us!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Sunshine & Happiness

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along you most likely arrived here via my talented Canadian counterpart Cathy Caines! I heart her and all of her works of art! ❤️

The theme for today is Sunshine & Happiness! I am loving the sunshine in Calgary today! Our weather was scorching hot here! It was so hot that we filled the pool up for our doggies and let them have a swim. I failed to take pictures, but we enjoyed the day none-the-less. Now for this month's project... I tried my best to infuse it with warmth and happiness! There are so many great products from the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 catalogue that would fit this theme perfectly! Saying that, I played around with a few of my faves when making today's card!

What do you think? Does it scream happy? Also, can you believe that it is my Grandma's 91st Birthday next week? I think I will have to join her for a masked garden visit and bring her a little something along with this card to cheer her up. She makes me happy every time I chat with her. I have been calling her just about every day since this C word stuff started. I know she get's down being so isolated, so I hope I can make her smile with this card that I created. ðŸ˜Š I am so blessed to have her in my life.

Above is a close up shot of the flowers on today's card. These flowers (as well as the grassy dies you see pictured above), are part of the Stampin' Up! Special Day Dies, & the Stampin' Up! Special Someone Photopolymer Stamp Set. Both are available in the current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. If you wish you can view these products up close in more detail by clicking on the "Shop" button at the end of today's post!

Up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His projects always make me happy!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Something New

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Janneke de Jong! Her projects always inspire me!

The theme for today is Something New! Given that the 2020-2021 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue was recently released this month, I figured I would play with one of my favourite new embossing folders for today's hop! As you can see I also chose to combine some of my favourite older carry over items on today's project! These items are all available in the current Stampin' Up! line of products!

When creating the background that you see here today I first created a wash of Balmy Blue Ink on a sheet of Stampin' Up! Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I did this by using the smoosh technique. If you have yet to try this tehnique it is super easy. You first ink up a piece of wax paper with your classic ink pad. Today I chose Balmy Blue Ink. You then spritz the ink with water and created a nice dilute puddle of Balmy Blue on the wax paper. Then you take your Stampin' Up! Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and press it into the pool of inky water. After allowing it to dry I then stamped this background with the rain drop stamp from the Stampin' Up! Under My Umbrella Photopolymer Stamp Set, again using Balmy Blue Ink. Lastly I ran this background through my Die Cutting & Embossing Machine with the Stampin' Up! Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. Check out this embossing folder in the Stampin' Up! image below...

Is it not beautiful? I can't wait to see all of the wonderful project ideas that other's come up with using this folder! It gives your projects that weathered aged look, without much effort at all! I love it! What do you think?

I hope that you all get a chance to check out the fun new products in this year's Stampin' Up! Catalogue, & that today's hop inspires you to get inky with a few new treasures! Up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! He is always coming up with clever ideas!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Retirement Or Graduation

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Manuela GeiswinklerI have a feeling that she left you feeling pretty inspired today!

The theme for today is Retirement Or Graduation! To me these phases in life both symbolize a time of change, the start of a new journey, a new adventure. Change is something that is not always easy to accept. But we inevitably change with the seasons of our lives. And to resist change is not always healthy. Letting go may in fact mean that we are then saying hello to the new favourite season of our lives. Congrats to all the new grads, the new retirees, and anyone working through all of the changes that our new normal is bringing to our lives. Now for my Retirement or Graduation card, I think this one could be used for either! What do you think?

For today's project I used a few of my favourite Stampin' Up! products. And all of these products will be in the new 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue that comes out on June 1st! Stay tuned as you will not be disappointed!

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and do your best to embrace the changes in your life! Up next in today's hop is Emma Goddard! I can't wait to see what she has to share with us today! she is for real my Stampin' Idol! Love you Emma! ðŸ’–

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - All Shapes & Sizes

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Manuela GeiswinklerI have a feeling that she left you feeling pretty inspired today!

The theme for today is "All Shapes & Sizes"! I hope that today's potted project brings a smile to your face during these hard times.

To be honest, I have not found it in me to create for quite some time. Yet paper crafting brings me so much joy. I decided to try my bestest to put life's hardships and worries aside for a short while to create for today's blog hop. I am so pleased that I did. Papercrafting is a form of meditation for me. It truly is healing. And today's card features the Timeless Tulips Bundle! Tulips are probably my most favourite of flowers. I don't have a fresh bouquet in my house right now, but I do think that these paper tulips are quite pretty. When I inked them up they defintiely made me smile. Something I need to do more these days. #smile

If you are curious as to how to make this type of project just plunk in a few key words and do a google search. There are many ideas and tutorials/templates out there. Up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His creations are always phenomenal!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Love Theme

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Manuela GeiswinklerI have a feeling that she left you feeling pretty inspired today!

The theme for today is "Love"! I think this topic is not just fitting for the time of year, but also for the state of our world right now. What the world needs now is love... sweet love.❤️ I can honestly say that through this blog hopping journey I am overjoyed to be connected with others around the globe in the most loving way. To all of my Be Inspired Team members, and all of the crafty visitors who stop by and read my posts, I heart you! I am so grateful for all of you. OXO

Now as for today's project... is it not adorbs? I seriously love this stamp set! It is perfect for that special man or woman in your life! Check out all of the images that are part of the Stampin' Up! Outdoor Barbecue Stamp Set!

Funny story.... my hubby just found a steal of a deal! He seriously just purchased a second hand barbecue to grill on the other day. He cleaned it all up and is so smitten over it. Anyhow, I am hiding this card from him and will be giving it to him for Valentine's Day as it is just too fitting. Here is a goofy awkward picture of us from 1998-ish. I can't believe I am sharing it with the world. We were 2 nerds in love back then. I still love him ... most days. 😉 #nerdycute

Okay enough about me, I hope you all have a wonderful February, and a Happy Valentine's Day! Up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His creations are always phenomenal!
