Chalk Board Fry Box - A Stampin' Up Teacher Gift!

Today is the last day of school before winter break! Yay for this! Between Christmas concerts & classroom parties it has been a busy week filled with "I need this for school tomorrow mom" lists! To top it all off 3 kids = 3 teacher gifts. Our teachers this year are all quite amazing & they deserve a special thank you at this time of year. We chose to treat them with a Starbucks gift card this holiday season, because what teacher doesn't like coffee? Not many I know. To make it extra special I put together these french fry boxes and decorated them using the chalk board technique. Chalk boards are now a thing of the past in classrooms so it seems, but the chalkboard look is on trend. I hope they enjoy them! We stuffed a pack of Starbucks gum in with each tiny package too.

Okay it may be Christmas season, but to many it is also baby season! I made these two sweet cards for a dear co-worker who is the mom of two of the most beautiful baby twins. I feel privileged to have enjoyed such a wonderful snuggle today. It was a refreshing start to a wonderful day. To that I say thank you <3.

As for my creations, being a nurse I had to place the hearts in their anatomical position. I won't make a supply list today but feel free to email me at carebearstamps@gmail.com if you are interested in learning more about Stampin' Up!, hosting a party, or placing an order.

Mixed Media Christmas Canvas

I'm so excited to share with you a mixed media project that I made at our team's Stampin' Up Christmas gathering last night. We were a wee bit spoiled by my friend and upline Allison Okamitsu. We had an amazing sit down dinner and then had time to craft away on our canvas that was provided as a gift. Here are a couple of pictures of my masterpiece. I never really knew what mixed media was about, let alone taken a try at it, but we dove right in. It was much easier than I had imagined.

Feel free to contact me if you or any of your friends are interested in hosting a mixed media gathering. These pieces could easily be made to suit any season and are a lovely way of changing up some of your home decor to fit the time of year. If you are interested in any of the products that went into the making of this piece you can check out the supply list below & I'd be more than happy to place an order for you. My email address is carebearstamps@gmail.com.
