Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Anything Goes!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Manuela GeiswinklerI have a feeling that she left you feeling pretty inspired today!

The theme for today is "Anything Goes"! That means we are free to create whatever we wish for this month's hop! My first thought was that I would choose a simple stamping project! But as it turns out, I went back to my roots and challenged myself with a scrapbook layout.πŸ’–

Honestly, I miss scrapbooking. As much as I love cardmaking, I think that this month's theme goes to show that when you allow yourself to create without any guidelines or limitations, and you truly follow your heart, the result can be magical! Do you not agree? I can't wait to see what the rest of the Be Inspired Team has to share with us today! I am pretty sure that this will be one of our most diverse and creative hops ever!

Well I won't keep you too long. I hope that you enjoyed today's project! If you have questions or comments I would love to hear them! You might have noticed that I used a few products from the new Stampin' Up! 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue on my project today! The new catty will be released on June 4th! Eeeeeeeek! Can you tell I am excited? I really am! You have to see it to believe it! Up next in today's blog hop is the most talented Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us! I am his #Number1Fan! (Okay... I am one of his number 1 fans! πŸ˜‚ I know he has many!)

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit today! If you are in Canada and you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up! products, I would love to have you visit my Stampin' Up! online shop! Just click on the shop button below if you wish!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set - #TGIFC212

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn Sander. I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some amazing inspiration this week! Come on over to TGIF Challenges site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you can come up with!

The theme for this week is paper flowers! What a great diverse theme! It's been a while since I created some paper flowers. If you want to check out a very original 3-D project I created with paper flowers a while back you can check it out by clicking HERE! For today's project I went with simple. I just received the Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating punch with my Stampin' Up! preorder this past week. Today's theme was a great excuse to pull it out and play.

What do you think? It's been a while since I have gotten inky. I am feeling a bit rusty these days. But it felt good to sit down and create again! One thing I did do a little bit different here was I covered the Stampin' Up! Perennial Essence Floral Center with Whisper White Craft Ink, and then White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I then heat set it with my Stampin' Up! Heat Tool and voila! I had created a white floral center that coordinated with my card. FYI I tried bleaching the floral center 1st and these are unbleachable. It was worth a shot though. I would love if these came in more colors, but in the meantime I can always work with what I've got! Check out the floral centers in the picture below! They will be available to purchase on June 1st with the release of the new annual 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Catalogue!

If you want to purchase some before then it's easy! You just sign up as a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator and you can preorder some anytime! If you are in Canada and you want to join my team you can learn more by clicking HERE! If you are okay with waiting you can purchase other papercraft supplies by visiting my online Stampin' Up! shop! Lastly, remember to check out the TGIF Challenges site this week to join in the fun with us!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!
