Hi there! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via my super talented friend Janneke! Wasn't her creation today fabulous? She is always inspiring me! ðŸ’–

The theme for today's hop is "Birthdays"! I can't wait to see everyone's creations today! I don't know about you, but I could always use a few extra birthday cards! I am hoping today's blog hop will inspire me to create a few more happy birthday cards for the New Year.💖 Here is what I came up with! I hope that you are inspired as well!

Today's card features a few sneak peeks! Not only is a new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue coming out in January, but Sale-A-Bration will be happening as well! If you have yet to hear about Sale-A-Bration you will want to explore the new Stampin' Up! Catalogues in 2022. You can earn free crafty products, some of which were used on today's happy card!

,

I used a combination of dies on today's card. I did not list them here today, but if you are curious as to the supplies I used feel free to comment below or send me an email. I hope that you enjoyed today's project!  Up next in today's hop is Emma Goddard! She is a Crafty Goddess as far as I am concerned! Love you Emma! I can't wait to be inspired by you!  💖

Stampin' Up! Soft Pastels Assortment - #TGIFC344

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to the TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!

This week's TGIF theme is a product spotlight featuring the Stampin' Up! Soft Pastels! These pastels are one of those products that I just don't seem to pull out enough. This week's theme was the perfect excuse for me to play with them for the first time.

I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and fan since the dawn of this millennium. Stampin' Up! used to have Stampin' Pastels way back in the day, and this newer product version of an old time favorite got me pretty excited when I saw them! There are many techniques you can do with them. For today's card I took my Coastal Cabana colored pastel and scribbled on a scrap piece of paper. I then took my Stampin' Up!  Sponge Dauber and rubbed it in the chalky residue. The next step was to run the sponge dauber over my paper igloo that I created using the Stampin' Up! Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder and the Classic Cloche Dies. By Sponging the chalk pastel over the textured cardstock it really makes the igloo pop! I am pretty happy with how this card turned out!

If you have yet to purchase the Stampin' Up! Soft Pastels Assortment you should really consider them. They are a very affordable addition to your crafty collection and there is so much more that one can do with them!

Stampin' Up! Classic Cloche Bundle - #TGIFC343

This week's TGIF theme is Place Cards and Table Settings! With American Thanksgiving this weekend I am sure many will be filling their tables and bellies with home made goodies. There are some great table decor ideas over at the TGIF Challenges site this week, so pop on over if you are looking for some festive inspiration. Here in Canada we are long past the time of Thanksgiving. Saying that I am always grateful. Since Christmas is just around the corner I decided to create a pretty candle wrap that one could use as a focal point for this upcoming holiday season.

This was actually quite easy to create using of course some of my favorite Stampin' Up!  products. The Stampin' Up! Classic Cloche Bundle pictured below is so versatile. Today's project is my first creation I have made with this bundle of products. I really need to stamp with it some more before the Christmas season has passed us and we are onto the next big celebration!

This is an amazing bundle of products! Don't you think? What are some of your favorite Stampin' Up! products from this years winter mini catalogue? I would love to see what you create with your favorites!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Sweet Treats

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via my super talented friend Janneke! Wasn't her creation today fabulous? She is always inspiring me! ðŸ’–

The theme for today's hop is Sweet Treats! I originally thought I would be creating some sort of cutsie treat package or candy wrapped decor for today's theme. As best of a plan that was, time slipped past me and I had to get creative. I hence decided to stamp some sweet treats for today's blog hop!

So yep, as you can see, instead of decorating a sweet treat, my sweet treats were stamped on cardstock using the Stampin' Up! Sweets & Treats Stamp Set. Check out the images from this stamp set below! It's full of festive goodies that are sure to satisfy the palate.

To add some vibrant color to the caramel candy apples on today's sweet project I pulled out my Stampin' Blend Markers. FYI if you have yet to try these coloring tools you are missing out. They are alcohol based, and to be honest the name says it all. They really do blend beautifully. Check out the Stampin' Blend video tutorial from Stampin' Up! for some tips, tricks, and ideas. Seriously! They are the best coloring medium! You feel like a pro even with the simplest of projects.

As sweet as these apples are I am going to keep it simple today. I hope you enjoyed today's project! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us! His projects are always spectacular! I hope you are as inspired as I am by the Be Inspired Team Blog Hop! 💖

Stampin' Up! Clever Cats Stamp Set - #TGIFC338

This week's TGIF theme is anything and everything Halloween! October 31st is just around the corner, and this week's challenge was just what I needed to get me in the mood for some spooky festivities! I really wanted to create some cut treat packaging for today's theme, but I sadly had no treats in my house. I hence resorted to a Frightfully Cute Card! Have a peek at what I created!

To be honest this set was not on my list until my BFF ordered it! She loves everything to do with Halloween, and she inspires me with her Spooktacular taste in stamp sets! ðŸ‘» Have a look at all of the images that are part of the Stampin' Up! Clever Cats Stamp Set below!

Is this set not adorbs? I may be a wee bit more in love with it because I do love my kitty cat whom always loves to climb into any and every box that is laying around. Did you know that Stampin' Up! shipment boxes make great kitty cat houses? It's a great way to reuse and upcycle if you ask me!

I hope you are as inspired as I am by the Be Inspired Team Blog Hop! Here is my take on the "Cute Critter" theme! 💖

I am in love with the Stampin' Up! Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set! If you are looking to make a cute & nutty card then this set is for you. It is a 2 Step Stampin' Set! Meaning there is no need to color in those images. Just choose a few inks that work for you and stamp away! Check out the images from this stamp set below!

I hope you enjoyed today's project! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Stesha Bloodhart! I can't wait to see what she has to share with us today! Her projects are always spectacular!

This week's TGIF theme is based on the above Sketch! To be honest, sketch challenges are my favourite! They always make me think outside the box! I would never have created today's card without this week's TGIF inspiration!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via my super talented friend Janneke! Wasn't her creation today fabulous? She is always inspiring me! ðŸ’–

The theme for today's hop is Designer Series Paper (DSP)! Stampin' Up! has a sale on DSP right now, so this month's theme is very fitting! I hope you are as inspired as I am by the Be Inspired Team's DSP themed projects. ðŸ’–

Today's card features the Stampin' Up! Pansy Petals DSP!  💖 What I love about Stampin' Up! DSP is that it is double sided. One side is usually more intricate/bold, and the other side is usually more monotone/subtle. For today's project I chose to opt on the subtle side. Stampin' Up! DSP is so versatile. Whatever the project you are creating, I am sure you will find something that fits with what you are envisioning. There are so many options and patterns available. Take a look at the Pansy Petals DSP below and you understand what I am taking about.

I am in love with everything that is included in the Stampin' Up! Pansy Patch Bundle! But I cannot lie... the gingham print on this DSP is my favorite! Our daughter loves it just as much. She is 10 years old and she is the wonderful creator of the stunning card below!

I think that we both had similar visions, and yet we portrayed what we had envisioned in very different ways. Do you not see a perfectly checked tablecloth when you look at this DSP? It makes me want to prepare for a family gathering whenever I catch a glimpse. I think Calissa thought the same. I love how she designed this layout. Her name means "Most Beautiful". Call me biased, but both she and her artwork are pretty stink'n beautiful. I love her to the moon and back times infinite.💖

I hope you enjoyed today's inspirational pieces! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His projects are always spectacular!
