Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Embossing Folders

The theme for today's hop is Embossing Folders! Stampin' Up! has a fabulous array of embossing folders. I decided to use on of my favorite new folders on today's project. Can you guess which one? 💖
 

Did you guess right? I used the Countryside Blossoms Folder. When I embossed with this folder I left to top portion of my cardstock out of the folder, leaving a portion of my cardstock sans impression, AKA "plain". I really like the look. Such a simple twist that adds more interest. 


I also used another folder on my card today. It is a wee difficult to see as it is so subtle, but if you look closely just below the focal sentiment I added a portion of a vellum trimmed doily. This doily was cut out using the Stampin' Up! Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder. The possibilities are endless with this Hybrid Folder. I love it & I am sure you will too.

Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch Bundle - #TGIFC439

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to the TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!


This week's theme is "Pumpkin Patch"! Create a fun fall-themed project using pumpkins or whatever autumn-themed supplies you have. The possibilities are endless! 


The Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch bundle was perfect for this week's topic so I had to get inky with it! I also went a little crazy with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Take a look at the supply list at the end of today's post for all of the items that went into creating this cute card!   


The Stampin' Up! Pick Of The Patch Punch makes popping out multiple pumpkins a breeze. I have joined a card swap that is due at the end of the week. Shhhhh.... this is the card that I will be mailing to 7 crafty friends. I think I should also create a few more to mail out to others as well. I love giving and receiving happy mail. There is nothing better than opening up a hand-made card that was created with love.

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Friends & Family

The theme for today's hop is Friends & Family! I am always in need of cards for both my friends and my fam jam, so this topic was perfect for me! I decided to create a punny card for today's hop. My friend Penny and I have a tradition where we go out for nachos & comedy night once a month. I can't help but think of her when I admire this adorable card! Love you Pen! 💖


For today's project, I decided to showcase the Stampin' Up! Taco Fiesta Stamp Set. This set is one of my favorites. The fun images and sentiments are perfect for many occasions. 


Today's card is fairly simple. I had fun coloring in the stamped nachos with my Stampin' Blends. I then popped up the nacho chips with my Stampin' Dimensionals to add interest to today's project. That, plus a few layers, & a wee piece of Baker's Twine complete this cute but simple card that is perfect to share with that special friend in one's life.

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Stampin' Up! Subtles Collection

The theme for today's hop is the Stampin' Up! Subtles Collection. Stampin' Up! has an amazing array of products. The inks, cardstock, embellishments, and other fun stuff all coordinate. Colours are grouped into what traditionally are known as colour families. The Subtles Collection is full of colours that give a soft feel to your projects!  I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with for today's subtle hop! I am sure you will be inspired. 


I decided to highlight Pool Party, Blushing Bride, and So Saffron here today. Pool Party will be sticking around in the new catty, but sadly So Saffron and Blushing Bride will be saying farewell. Don't worry though! There will be some new hues to get excited about once the new catty is released! In the meantime, I had fun creating with these dreamy colours.

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Stampin' Up! Regals Collection

The theme for today's hop is the Stampin' Up! Regals Collection. Stampin' Up! has an amazing array of products. The inks, cardstock, embellishments, and other fun stuff all coordinate. Colors are grouped into what traditionally are known as color families. The Regals Collection is full of colors that give a sophisticated look! There are also many masculine colors in the palette. I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with for today's regal hop! I am sure you will be inspired. 


I love how the tones here create such a manly feel. Masculine cards are ones I struggle to make. But sometimes all you have to do is combine a few regal tones to create a special something for that man in your life.
