Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Seasonal Florals

Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to another Creating Kindness around the world blog hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. If you have been following the hop you would have just arrived here via the talented Liz Holloway! Liz is a fellow Canadian stamper.  Didn't you just love what she had to share with us today? The theme for today's hop is Seasonal Florals! I hope you enjoy today's project! As well, remember to click on the next button at the end of this post so that you can follow the entire hop!

For today's project I decided to do a direct CASE (Copy And Share Everything), from the Stampin' Up! Stampin' Success Magazine. The card you see below was created with the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Pointsetta Bundle.

The Stampin' Success Magazine is one of those awesome perks you get as being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. When I saw this card featured in Stampin' Success I just knew that I had to purchase the Peaceful Pointsetta Bundle.

What I love about this bundle is that when you combine it with the Stampin' Up! Big Shot Embossing Mats you can cut or dry emboss with these dies! This makes this bundle extra versatile! Check out some more samples using this bundle in the photo from Stampin' Up! pictured below!

I don't have my own video to share with you today, but Stampin' Up! has an awesome video tutorial that showcases the Embossing Mats! Check it out below and you will understand why these mats are a must if you own a Stampin' Up! Big Shot!

Well I hope you enjoyed today's project! Next up in the hop is Cheryll Miller! She has a stunning project to share with us today!💖 Click on the next button below so that you don't miss out!

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Vellum

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via the wonderfully talented Cathy CainesI have a feeling that she left you feeling pretty inspired today!

The theme for today is anything and everything to do with vellum! I hope you enjoy my vellum infused project!

I love adding soft touches of vellum to my hand made cards. The little sprigs of vellum that are layered with my die cut leaves here add the perfect subtle detail that is needed to make this card a wee bit more fancy than average. I am not sure if it is noticeable in the photos, but I also dry embossed a piece of vellum with the Stampin' Up! Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It is hiding behind the "Happy Birthday" sentiment. Not only did I dry emboss this small piece of vellum, but I covered it with the Stampin' Up! Frost White Shimmer Paint. The shimmer paint gives the vellum a pearl finish which coordinates just perfectly with the Stampin' Up! Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Well that's it for my vellum inspiration today, but I know that the rest of the Be Inspired Design Team has much more to share with you! Up next in today's blog hop is my talented friend Janneke de Jong! I can't wait to see what she has to share with us!

Thanks again! If you have any questions in regards to today's project feel free to contact me! As well, if you are in Canada and you are interested in purchasing Stampin' Up! products, I would love to have you visit my Stampin' Up! online shop! Just click on the shop button below if you wish!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Merry Christmas Bike Ride - #TGIFC187

Hi everyone! If you are new here my name is Carolynn Sander. I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This week the TGIF Challenges Team has a fun back to the basics technique theme! We are getting spongy this week! With ink, shimmer paint, you name it!  Be sure to check out all the projects over at TGIF Challenges! As well, we would love to have you join in with us! Come on over and show us what you got!

For my project this week I decided to sponge my backdrop for today's card!

Sponging a nice even background is super easy with Stampin' Up! Inks and the Stampin' Up! Sponge Brayers!

These brayers are seriously one of my fave tools from the catty! Best part is that you can clean them with soap and water between each use so that you can use them with multiple colors! Just make sure that you allow them enough time to dry out in between! Check out the supply list below for a complete list of products used on today's card. Not gonna lie, this is my first time using the bike stamp from the "Bike Ride" stamp set. I thought I was pretty clever by putting a merry spin on it! What do you think?

Again thank you so much for stopping by! & Remember to stop by the TGIF Challenges site to join in the fun this week! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. As well, if you are from Canada check out my online 24/7 Stampin' Up! supply shop below!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!
