Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via my super talented friend Janneke! Wasn't her creation today fabulous? She is always inspiring me! ðŸ’–

The theme for today's hop is Designer Series Paper (DSP)! Stampin' Up! has a sale on DSP right now, so this month's theme is very fitting! I hope you are as inspired as I am by the Be Inspired Team's DSP themed projects. ðŸ’–

Today's card features the Stampin' Up! Pansy Petals DSP!  💖 What I love about Stampin' Up! DSP is that it is double sided. One side is usually more intricate/bold, and the other side is usually more monotone/subtle. For today's project I chose to opt on the subtle side. Stampin' Up! DSP is so versatile. Whatever the project you are creating, I am sure you will find something that fits with what you are envisioning. There are so many options and patterns available. Take a look at the Pansy Petals DSP below and you understand what I am taking about.

I am in love with everything that is included in the Stampin' Up! Pansy Patch Bundle! But I cannot lie... the gingham print on this DSP is my favorite! Our daughter loves it just as much. She is 10 years old and she is the wonderful creator of the stunning card below!

I think that we both had similar visions, and yet we portrayed what we had envisioned in very different ways. Do you not see a perfectly checked tablecloth when you look at this DSP? It makes me want to prepare for a family gathering whenever I catch a glimpse. I think Calissa thought the same. I love how she designed this layout. Her name means "Most Beautiful". Call me biased, but both she and her artwork are pretty stink'n beautiful. I love her to the moon and back times infinite.💖

I hope you enjoyed today's inspirational pieces! Feel free to leave a comment below, or message me if you have any questions. & On that note, up next in today's hop is Brian King! I can't wait to see what he has to share with us today! His projects are always spectacular!

This week's TGIF theme is Vacation Vibes! What a fun theme hey? We just came home from a fun camping beach vacation. Although I am late to the challenge, I was very excited to participate with my TGIF pals this week! I appreciate this group of crafty friends so much! Not only are they the most talented paper crafters around, but they bring me joy! They have been there for me through the tough times this past year and then some. I want to say thank you to the TGIF team for being so incredibly amazing! I love all of you to the beach and back!

For today's card not only did I use one of my favourite beachy stamp sets, I also played with the amazing Designer Series Paper (DSP) pictured below.

This Designer Series Paper is one of those special items that can be earned by hosting your own Stampin' Up! event, or by purchasing enough Stampin' Up! products ($200 Canadian Before Shipping & Tax) to qualify for hostess benefits! Pretty awesome I must say so myself! ðŸ’–

Stampin' Up! Jar Of Flowers Stamp Set - #TGIFC323

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to the TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!

This week's TGIF theme is this gorgeous, bright, and fun color combo! Anytime we have a color combo with a bright green I can't help but reach for one of my favourite flower stamp sets! The Stampin' Up! Jar Of Flowers Stamp Set, Momento Black Ink, and a few Stampin' Blends are all you need to create a card like the one that I have shared with you today!

I love how the Stampin' Blends give such a soft smooth look when coloring. If you have yet to play with the Stampin' Blends you can watch the video tutorial from Stampin' Up! below. Once you try them out you won't want to color with anything else!

The Stampin' Up! Jar Of Flowers Stamp Set is also one of my top items! Check out all of the beautiful images that are part of this set!

As you can see the variety of florals in this stamp set make for stunning creations! Paired with this week's TGIF Challenges color combo one can't go wrong! Here is another close up of today's work of art.
