Care Bear Stamps: Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn Sander. I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some amazing inspiration this week! The theme for this week is paper flowers! What a great diverse theme! It's been a while since I created some paper flowers. If you want to check out a very original 3-D project I created with paper flowers a while back you can check it out by clicking HERE! For today's project I went with simple. I just received the Stampin' Up! Floral Essence Stamp Set and coordinating punch with my Stampin' Up! preorder this past week. Today's theme was a great excuse to pull it out and play.

What do you think? It's been a while since I have gotten inky. I am feeling a bit rusty these days. But it felt good to sit down and create again! One thing I did do a little bit different here was I covered the Stampin' Up! Perennial Essence Floral Center with Whisper White Craft Ink, and then White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I then heat set it with my Stampin' Up! Heat Tool and voila! I had created a white floral center that coordinated with my card. FYI I tried bleaching the floral center 1st and these are unbleachable. It was worth a shot though. I would love if these came in more colors, but in the meantime I can always work with what I've got! Check out the floral centers in the picture below!
