Masculine Faux Metal Birthday Card - With Stampin' Up!

Well I'll start off by saying good morning to everyone! I've freshened up the look of my blog recently and I have to say it's been lots of fun. Every time I figure out a small blogger trick I get a little sense of excitement that comes along with it! Today's post is a card that was inspired by another card I received as part of our Stampin' Up demonstrator team card swap.  For those who might not know, a swap is where you get a group of friends, you all make say 10 cards that are exactly the same, and you trade them. It's a great way to share ideas with others! The theme for this swap was masculine cards, which are always a wee bit trickier. I think this card meets the masculine requirements. What do you think?
If you are in the Calgary area and are interested in learning how to make this faux metal tag, I will be having a Stampin' Up Card making night at my place on May 3rd. We will be making this project as well as others. There are so many ways you can use your stamps and this faux metal technique has been one my all time favourites!

Check out the Stampin' Up supply list below to see all of the materials that went into today's work of art & feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Thanks for stopping by!
