Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - True Gentleman

Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a lovely weekend! Today I am a guest designer with the Stamping Sunday team! I am truly honoured to be joining them. For those who may be new here, my name is Carolynn Sander. I am Canadian Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator located in Calgary, Alberta. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. I hope that you enjoy! Make sure to click through the blog list at the end of today's post so that you capture all of the masculine inspiration today!!

Today's post is showcasing the True Gentleman Suite from Stampin' Up! Masculine cards and projects are often a challenge for many. This bundle of products makes creating for the men in your life a breeze!

If you have yet to take a look at the Truly Tailored Bundle check it out in the photo below! You won't be disappointed!

Did you notice anything different on my projects today? Yep... you guessed it! I switched out one of the images on the "Lookin' Sharp" stamp. Are you curious as to how I did this? Well it is quite simple! I applied some of my handy Washi Tape over the glasses on the stamp, prior to inking it up with my Versamark Pad. I then carefully removed the Washi Tape and then stamped on my cardstock. Voila! It's that simple! I then took the little bow tie from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Stamp Set and embossed it. Next I punched it out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I realize that I could have used the bow tie that comes with the Truly Tailored stamp set. However, the option I chose meant that there was no fussy cutting for me! And no fussy cutting makes this girl happy! 😊

The little matchbox you see above is the ideal size to hold a gift card, and it's perfect for just about any occasion! I created it using the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board. If you would like to check out a tutorial (complete with step by step pictures) that features this matchbox, then visit this previous post I created by clicking HERE. You're welcome! As well make sure to check out the rest of the hop today! All of the links are posted below! Next up is Janneke de Jong from the Netherlands! I know that you will love Janneke's creations as much as I do!

  1. Hey Carolynn, love having you with us this hop. I love the copper with Tranquil Tide and Night of Navy on your projects. Great tip about masking off parts of the greeting images as well! xxx
