According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of ombre is, "Having colors or tones that shade into each other —used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark." The ombre look is very popular these days. You see it in fashion, hair, interior design ... really almost everywhere you look, and the papercrafting world is no exception! You will find many ombre masterpieces surrounding you if you keep your eyes peeled! That is what makes this theme a great one for this week's TGIF Challenge!
There are many ways one can achieve that blended ombre look with inks and paper. Saying that, I kinda cheated today. What do I mean by this? Well I used a sheet of paper from my fave pack of Stampin' Up! DSP to create the ombre project you see here! This made it easy oh peasy! Have a look at the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack in the photo below! You will see why it is a must have! The colours are so bright and fun! As well, these papers are oh so versatile!
Well what do you think? Is this DSP not beautiful? Just think of all of the possibilities! #Swoon๐
Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope that you have enjoyed today's project! Remember to stop by the TGIF Challenges site and join in the fun this week! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. As well, if you are from Canada check out my online 24/7 Stampin' Up! supply shop below!
