Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop

Hi everyone! It's Carolynn Sander, you are visiting my blog here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Home of freezing winters & the much loved chinook! If you aren't starting out here, you would have arrived here from Katy Harrison's blog. I'm sure Katy wowed you with her post this week! I am so super duper excited to be a part of this blog hop today with a team that is full of amazingly creative and inspiring members! I guess I can now say that I am on my first design team! How cool is that??? To say it best, I feel truly blessed and honoured to be on a team with other papercrafters, sharing what we all love across the globe! Make sure to click on the next button at the end of today's post so that you can check out all of the inspiration to be shared in today's hop!

Enough with my own excitement here! There is plenty more to get excited about these days! Like the most loved Stampin' Up special of the year (insert drum roll here) ... Sale-A-Bration! In keeping with the Sale-A-Bration excitement, the theme for this first hop is anything and everything Sale-A-Bration! The card I am sharing with you today showcases the "Tasty Trucks" stamp set. This is by far most fave Sale-A-Bration product of them all!

This set is oh so versatile! If you check out the other stamps in the set, this truck can be miraculously converted into your favourite food truck all with the inking of a stamp! I chose to make it a hot dog truck as it reminds me of my dad and my younger sister. I have three sisters in total. My dad had nicknames for all of us growing up. My nickname was "Care Bear", as you may have figured out! The others were blessed to be "Hot Dog", "Snugs", & "Bow-Lynny". I think Care Bear isn't too bad! (OXO Miss You Dad)

Well thank you to the team for this opportunity & thank you for stopping by! I would love to have you leave a comment if you are visiting today! You will also for sure want to check out the rest of the blogs in this great hop if you haven't already. To do so you would just click on the picture link below! Kimberly Van Diepen is up next in the blog hop line up! She is super famous in the world of Stampin' Up! Make sure to carry on with the hop and visit her!

If you are in Canada you can check out more details on the Sale-A-Bration promotion by clicking on the link here. All I have to say to keep it simple is FREE STAMPS!!! If that doesn't get you excited I don't know what will! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the making of today's card.

Cheers!

  4. Super cute! I love the colors and patterns! How did you stamp your hot dog background in such straight lines? I can never make a pattern that perfect!

    1. Awe thanks for the kind comments Natalie. I actually took a sticky note and used it as a guide for each row of hot dogs, moving it as I went along. Once I got going they all stamped pretty easily!

  7. This is the sweetest hot dog truck Carolynn! The black strip as the road really makes the truck pop and I'm loving all those sweet hot dogs as stamped in the background.

Ok, so lets talk about this....you were nicknamed Care Bear and you have a sister nicknamed Hot Dog?! I'm sure this was a term of endearment and I'm hoping your sister love it. I'm sure she will love your hot dog truck.
For the record - I was kindly nicknamed "Goober" by my brothers! LOL :)

    1. Yep! Pretty much! Our Dad loved us all, and our cool nicknames were just one of the many ways in which he showed it! He is in heaven now, so I'm sure he would be super proud of my blog title, and my hot dog card! lol All inspired by his terms of endearment! Thank you again so much Louise! I can only imagine how much fun I am going to have hopping and sharing with you all!
