Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop - Something New

Hi there! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander in Calgary, Alberta, Canada! If you have been hopping along, you most likely arrived here via my super talented friend  Janneke Dijkstra - de Jong! Isn't her creation today fabulous? She is always inspiring me! ðŸ’–

The theme for today's hop is "Something New"! For my project I decided to showcase a couple of the new Stampin' Up! In Colors, as well as one of my new favorite Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets, "Places In The Heart." It is such a beautiful set that resonates with me.

I truly feel that this stamp set and it's sayings depict the feelings that many of us parents hold as we watch our children mature & grow. Have a look at the images that are a part of this set below and you will get me. This set pulls at the heart strings.

Our first born is graduating from high school this year. When I created this card I reminisced of those times when I held him tight as an infant. I will always hold those moments near and dear to my heart. Love is what this life it is all about, and I love how this set gives me all of the feels. It brings me back to those precious moments.

I hope that you enjoyed today's project!  Up next in today's hop is Brian King! Brian is always inspiring me with his art! I am so grateful to be hopping with him today! I am sure he will blow you away! 💖
