Stampin' Up! Ombre Gift Bags - #TGIFC314

Hi everyone! My name is Carolynn, I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The TGIF Team is at it again with some crafty inspiration! Come on over to the TGIF Challenges Site and have fun creating with us! We would love to see what you come up with!

This week's TGIF theme is a Designer Take Over! Charlet Mallett is the Designer that is taking us down with her this week! Charlet is not only talented, but she is one of the most humble and kind paper-crafters that I have been so blessed to have met. When I heard Charlet came up with this week's TGIF theme I just absolutely had to create a project to honour her. I love yah Charlet! So on with the Ombre project ... thanks to Charlet's genius idea. ðŸ’–

Today's project features many sneak peeks from the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue. I was able to create today's "Ombre" themed project with ease thanks to the Stampin' Up! Ombre Gift Bags. They are quite beautiful and can be used to create a gamut of projects if one puts their mind to it. 💖

I don't have intricate instructions to share with you today, but this gift card holder was created quite simply by folding one of those Ombre Gift Bags in half. Once you fold it in half, make sure to apply some good adhesive to the inside fold area (in order to adhere it to itself). You will then be left with a pocket to slip that beautiful gift card in. All that is left to do is decorate it with your favorite stamps and ink. Voila! You now have gift card holders for those special Birthdays, Mom's Day, or for those end of the year teacher gifts. Maybe even gift one to that special health care provider to say thanks. The thoughtful ideas are endless.

Now for the throwback, here is a picture of Charlet and I. We met at Stampin' Up! Onstage Live in 2017! One of my best crafting memories! I can't wait to meet with my fellow crafters in person again one day! Not sure when that will be, but I do know it will be worth the wait! 💖

Thank you so much for visiting today! Feel free to leave a comment below! & Remember to check out the TGIF Challenges Site this week to join in the fun with us! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

Cheers & Happy Stamping!

  1. Carolynn, you are sweet sweet and I was absolutely thrilled to meet you! Hard to believe it's been 4 years. Thanks for the beautiful words. I ADORE your project. So soft and sweet. What a creativeidea to incorporate those bags to make a sleeve for your card. I'm totally going to CASE. Hugs, Charlet
