Creating Kindness Blog Hop - Because We Care

Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to another Creating Kindness around the world blog hop! You are currently visiting me, Carolynn Sander, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. If you have been following the hop you would have just arrived here via Jay Soriano's blog. Wasn't Jay's project fabulous? Today's theme is all about caring! This is such a fitting theme, given we are the Creating Kindness Team! I hope that after today's hop you are inspired to show someone just how much you care.

What do you think of today's project? I love that it has such a cheery feel to it! Wouldn't it be a great card to send to your friend or loved one just to show that you care? Today I am not writing about any charity in particular. Although I have to say that this theme has gotten me thinking about how I can contribute to my community in a caring manner via my crafting hobby. I think that in the New Year this will be a mission or resolution for me. Caring resolutions are extra special right? Saying this all, I do have a loved one who has ALWAYS enjoyed mailing cards and letters. This special person has had an extra hard time lately. I plan on sending her this card, as well as many others from my stash, to cheer her up! Not only will she love recieving her own cheery card, but she will be able to share the love through the act of giving the cards that I have given to her. It will be like a ripple effect! I love it when happiness can have a ripple effect! It makes me smile just to think of this.

Now are you curious as to how I created that darling rainbow? And those perfect clouds? Well, I have a full step by step video tutorial to share with you today! I hope you enjoy it!
