Stampin' Up ! Ribbon Of Courage ~ Alcohol Ink Blending ~ #TGIFC110

Good day everyone! Welcome to another fun Friday with the TGIF Challenge group! For those who may be new here, my name is Carolynn Sander & I am a Canadian Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta. Have you oogled over the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue yet??? If you haven't, you better get to it! It was just released yesterday & it is packed with many marvelous products. I will have a link to the digital copy at the end of this post so that you can check it out! As well, if you are in Canada, just leave me a comment or send me a message. I can then help you get your hands on a paper copy! Real life pages are so much more fun to flip through!

What do you think of the funky shades that are part of today's TGIF colour palate? To be honest, I would never have thought to put them together! That's why these challenges are so much fun! As a memeber of the TGIF team my creativity continues to wander in all sorts of directions and I love it!

My card today showcases a couple of new products. Those being the Ribbon Of Courage stamp set, and the new Glossy Cardstock! Glossy Cardstock was a product that Stampin' Up! used to sell, but it was discontinued for a few years. I am so excited to have it back as there is such a variety of ways in which you can use it, & it always makes for a stunning card! The technique I have shown on today's card is called Alcohol Ink Blending. It was contrived by Maria Willis over at Cardbomb (thank you Maria). Maria posted a video tutorial showing how she came up with the technique & I am thrilled to share it with you as it is super cool! Check it out below!

I was so excited to try this, and given today's colour combo I thought why not? I'm delighted with how it turned out! I would love to see what you come up with using these fab colours! Make sure to join in the fun with us over at TGIF this week! The designers have a wide array of fabulous projects that will make your creativity spiral out of control!

Before you leave today, here is that new catty I was talking about earlier!

Any questions just let me know! Hope you have a fun filled weekend! & Happy the day after the new catty has been released day!
