Well tomorrow marks the 1st day of school & the last day for summer holidays with my babies home. We are rather excited in our house, or mommy is anyway (wink wink). I will miss my babies being home but I have a laundry list of things to do around here (including laundry)! I am sure I will be much more productive while the kids are all learning away at school! And I may just have a wee bit more time to stamp too! Yahoo!
I am super-dee-duper excited to share with you today this sweet thank you treat I created while playing in my craft room today. Doesn't it look so yummy? It kinda follows the back to school theme that's happening right now, as it displays all the fun primary colours! Not gonna lie, but these sour jelly belly beans were the inspiration for my card today, so why not pair the two together for a nice thank you? As for the mason jar display, who can resist? Mason jars are so cool these days! To be honest I never thought the words "mason jar" and "cool" would ever go in the same sentence, but they so do!
The stamp set I used for today's project is actually one I've had for quite a while but never really put to good use. I'll have to ink it up some more as the possibilities are endless with this one. Have a peek at the "Work of Art" Stamp set below and you'll see what I mean.
Here's another card sample from the Stampin' Up! website which displays this great set.
As for today's Stampin' Up! colours I went for Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, and Dapper Denim. Again the rainbow I chose today was inspired by the sour jelly bellies I picked up in the bulk section of my local grocery store. Yummy!
Happy Back To School!
